Aerofly doesn't detect USB-Interface

Hi,
I am trying to make it work, but I have some problems. I can detect the device in the Intcon - all seems to work fine here. In Aerofly, I can detect Analog Joystick #1, Analog Joystick #2(MFTeck device), and 2 other items with no names, and I can calibrate it. But under Control I can detect only Analog Joystick #1 and Transmitter USB/GC device. When I push the Properties on both of them, none of them are alive. What can be wrong? When I used my old device with Windows XP, it worked.

I succeeded to get it alive by disabling the Sidewinder Joystick from the PC. But when I try to calibrate the R/C unit (old Graupner MC20), it is not working according to my setup. The channels are activating more than they should, some are not in control - even I think I have set it up as I should. Shall I work in IntCon first?

If several axes move synchronously, try the 1:1 axis mapping in IntCon. Some flight sims need that special default axis mapping. Try to disable all mixers in your tx. Try to use an offset to the middle position of the servos in your tx, if the axis of USB-Interface jump in the end position of the sticks.

If you have a programmable R/C, use a new model.
You can also try to disable all buttons in IntCon. Buttons are fired if the stick elongation is greater than a certain value. Maybe this explains, why something is switched on/off if you move your sticks.

It seems to be a problem with the right side stick (stick mode 2, throttle and rudder). It has no proportionality – it is only on/off or min/max. The same result in the IntCon. Any ideas? The left hand sticks is perfect. As mentioned earlier, there is no problem in Realflight G4.

did you try to calibrate the device in Windows? If you do so, it will fail, because the buttons associated with stick positions will fire automatically. You move the stick just a bit and Windows thinks this is the complete movement. Consequently, small stick movement will cause large Windows axis movement. So, if you have done this, undo calibration by using the 'standard' button in Panel/Gamecontrollers/Properties.

That solved the problem in IntCon, and everything seems to work there. In AeroFly, all channels now only works as proportional on one of the sides. On the other side it is on/off.

Any ideas?

programs like Aerofly have their own calibration procedure.
If the movement of the axes are right in Windows/Control Panel/Gamecontroller, then it is "just" a problem with the calibration in the sim. Does it help, to do calibration in AFP again?

Thank you for your patience. That made it - I had done the calibration in Aerofly wrong: I went into Calibration/properties/calibration
Then it's said: "move the controls to neutral position" which I did.
Then "Move the controls to their extreme position" Which I did too. But I
kept them there - that was wrong - they shall be moved back to the neutral
position.
Then press "OK"
